This museum exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history including birds, insects, grass beds, reptiles, amphibians and shellfish gathered by this eminent professor of natural history. These collections reflect the biodiversity of Martinique, one of the richest in endemic plants and animals in the lesser Antilles.
