Regional Museum of History and Ethnography

10, boulevard du Général de Gaulle, 97200 Fort-de-France

Located in a garden full of mango, pear and mahogany trees the museum building is one of the oldest homes of Fort-de-France. Visitors can admire a restored late 19th century bourgeois interior with original furniture and objects. Old documents, paintings and engravings retrace important historical episodes of the island.
