Zoo de Martinique

Habitation Latouche - Anse Latouche, 97221 Le Carbet

The beautiful Latouche Estate located between Le Carbet and Saint-Pierre is home to animal species from all four corners of the globe: Australia, Africa and, of course, Central and Southern America. The zoo has been designed for the comfort of visitors with wooden walkways, shelters, tropical greenhouses, and exceptional vantage points... This is quite simply an enchanting and magical setting to come and marvel at local and tropical animal species (spider monkeys, jaguar, puma, red arras, pink flamingos...), not to mention being an ideal place to learn about the history of Martinique and its economic development through the ages. New: the butterfly house in the vestiges of the ancient sugar mill factory.
